The trust you were taught and the trust you’re building now don’t have to look the same. Only one of them has to be true.
A lot of what got called “trusting God” growing up was really just going along with it, no questions allowed. That’s not trust, that’s compliance. What you’re building now, after everything you’ve walked through, gets to be different. It gets to be yours.

Doubt showing up doesn’t cancel your trust statement. You’re allowed to hold both at once. That’s not weak faith, that’s honest faith.
This is trust you built yourself, not trust you inherited. That makes it stronger, not weaker.
