Combat the Lies With Truth
You’ve named what you believe and where the fear came from. Now we hold it up to Scripture, because your feelings about God and the truth about God are not always the same thing. What’s true stays. What’s not gets replaced, on purpose, with His own words.
Lie vs. truth
“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love… he does not treat us as our sins deserve.”

What you’re noticing
This is the whole point of this step, and honestly, of this whole course. God has never been against you. Every hard thing you’ve carried about Him gets to be tested against His own words, and His words are for you, not against you. He is good, and He has always been good.
You traded a lie for the truth today. That’s not a small thing. That’s the whole reason we’re here. Keep going.
